Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al Juhany is the youngest of all the Imams in Masjid Al Haram and was born in 1976, in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. He completed memorizing the Quran at a very young age.

As he comes from a very religious background, his parents wanted him to advance in the field and so he received his education from Umm Al Qurra University, and obtained PHD degrees in Islamic Sharia and Tilawatil Quran. Thus making him one of the youngest to obtain a PHD degree from Umm Al Qura University. Sheikh Juhany was appointed to lead Tarawih Prayers at Al Nabawi Mosque in 1998-1999 and finally in 2007 was appointed as permanent Imam to lead Prayers at Al Haram Mosque, Mecca .Sheikh Juhany has been blessed to be the only Imam who leads Prayers in almost all the important Mosques in Islamic History, including Masjid Al Quba, Masjid Qiblatein, Masjid Al Jinn, Masjid Al Nabawi and Masjid Al Haram. He leads with Sheikh Maher Al Muaiqly paired usually presides over the first 10 Rakah, and currently he leads Salat Al Fajar at Masjid Al Haram. He was appointed Khatib Masjid Al Haram in October 2019 by the Royal Order.
